Beta — Knitting pattern

Beta is a statement collar worked in the round from the lower edge, with dramatic decreases and layered textures that bloom into soft ruffles. A ribbed neckband and subtle short rows refine the fit; finish by puckering the ruffles while blocking.

18 sts × 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette on 4.5 mm needles.

Construction
Work lower ruffle in the round; decrease sharply, then change to Léttlopi and follow charted texture with combined strands. Shape the back with short rows, finish a K1,P1 neckband, then increase for a soft facing and bind off purlwise.
