Knitting needles & notions

4 mm (US 6) circular needle 40 cm; 6 mm (US 10) circular needles 40–60 cm; 6 mm double pointed needles.

Gauge

Álafosslopi: 13 sts and 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm in St st using 6 mm needles. Check gauge and adjust needle size if necessary.

Construction

Hat is worked in the round—first with circular needles then with double pointed needles as rounds get shorter.
