Knitting needles & notions

6 mm (US 10) circular 40 cm; 6 mm DPNs; 6 mm (US J/10) crochet hook.

Gauge

13 sts and 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm in St st using 6 mm needles. Check gauge and adjust needle size if necessary.

Construction

Earflaps and fold-up brim worked flat; pieces joined and body knit in the round to crown, then shaped flat; edged in single crochet; optional light felting for snug fit.
