Knitting needles & notions

4.5 mm circular needles (40 & 80 cm); 4 mm circular needle (80 cm); 3.5 mm and 4.5 mm double pointed needles.

Gauge

18 sts and 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm in St st using 4.5 mm needles.
Check gauge and adjust needle size if necessary.

Construction

Body and sleeves are worked in the round to the underarm, then joined for the yoke; the neckline is wider than on traditional Icelandic sweaters.
