The beautiful Silhouette tea light holders are laser cut ply wood and shaped like the Helm of Awe . When you lit on the candle it will cast the Helm of Awe shaped shadow so place strategically near a wall or such for an added effect. Shape of Iceland laser engraved on the wood.
The Aegishjalmur, or Helm of Awe, is primarily a symbol of protection and power. Consisting of eight spiked tridents radiating out from a central point, it was believed to instill fear in enemies and shield the bearer from physical, mental, or spiritual harm and also symbolizes the strength and invincibility of warriors.
