Ljósaskipti — Knitting pattern

Ljósaskipti (“Golden Hour”) pairs deep indigo shades with soft neutrals and a ray of light at the yoke. The silhouette is intentionally wide for an effortless look and cozy layering. Choose from two needle sizes for the body/yoke to achieve the intended fabric, with color E in Plötulopi held double for subtle loft and glow.

Knitting needles & notions
Circular needles 6 mm & 8 mm (40 & 80 cm); circular needle 4.5 mm (40 cm); double‑pointed needles 8 mm.

Gauge
13 sts × 18 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette on 6 mm needles. 11 sts × 16 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette on 8 mm needles.

Construction
Body and sleeves are wide and knit in the round from the lower edges to the underarms; join to work the yoke in the round. Short‑row shaping at the back of the neck adds comfort. Color E (Plötulopi) is worked 2‑ply.
