Marbendill is a colorful lopapeysa inspired by the sea’s merman—bold contrasts on a timeless Icelandic yoke. The fabric pairs airy Plötulopi with fine Einband for warmth without weight. Your kit supplies yarn for the largest size so any size from XS to 2XL is covered.

Gauge

15 sts and 20 rows = 10 × 10 cm in St st using 5.5 mm needles and 1‑ply Plötulopi and Einband together.

Construction

Body and sleeves are worked in the round from the lower edges to the underarms, then joined to work the yoke in the round. Round begins on the left side; finishing includes neat grafts at the underarm and standard blocking.
