Knitting needles & notions

Circular needles 3.5 mm (60 cm) and 4.5 mm (60 cm).
Stitch markers, stitch holders, and a darning needle may also be needed. Please note that these items are not included in our kits, so make sure you have them on hand or purchase them separately before you begin.

Gauge

18 sts × 23 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 × 10 cm.

Construction

Body and sleeves are worked in the round from the lower edge to the underarms, then joined to knit the yoke in the round. Short rows shape the back; the neckband is finished in ribbing, and the beaks are embroidered afterward.
