Knitting needles & notions

3.5 mm and 4.5 mm circular needles (40 and 60–80 cm); 3.5 mm and 4.5 mm double pointed needles; 10–12 buttons.

Gauge

18 sts and 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm in St st using 4.5 mm needles.
Check gauge and adjust needle size if necessary.

Construction

The cardigan is worked in two halves in the round to the underarm, then each half of the yoke is worked in the round with front and back steeks that are cut open after securing.
