Tími — Knitting Kit

Tími (“Time”) is a child’s brioche sweater that balances squishy texture and everyday wearability. Worked in Léttlopi, it’s light yet warm, with rhythmic brioche that gives stretch and depth. The silhouette is classic and practical for play, while the stitch pattern lends a refined Icelandic character. Construction is straightforward: knit the body and sleeves in the round, then join them to shape the raglan yoke. The result is a soft, breathable layer that holds its shape and looks great across the seasons.

What’s in the kit
The yarn included in the kit is enough to make the largest size of the sweater. Knitting pins are optional and included only if you choose the ‘With needles’ variant. Kit yarn follows the original palette below. Pattern format: PDF.

Knitting needles & notions
Circular needles 5 mm (40 cm and 60 cm). Double pointed needles 3.5 mm and 5 mm.

Gauge
16 sts × 32 rows = 10 × 10 cm in brioche stitch on 5 mm needles. Adjust needle size if needed to meet gauge.

Construction
Body and sleeves are worked in the round from the lower edge to the underarms, then joined to work the yoke in the round with raglan shaping. Brioche can lengthen with wear due to the extensible fabric; block to measurements.
