Original design by: Védís Jónsdóttir — Tjald is a playful and ambitious knitting project: a tent structure worked in colorful Léttlopi, using steeks, sewing, and crochet finishing.

Construction
Tent is knitted in the round top-down in two halves with steeks. Parts are cut open, joined, and reinforced with crochet bands. Wooden poles inserted for structure.
