Vuorji Sweater — Knitting Kit

The Vuorji Sweater is inspired by the mighty Vuorji mountain, rising 1,024 meters above sea level on the border between the municipalities of Karasjok and Porsanger. At the foot of the mountain lies the lake Leavnnjasjávri, locally known as “Livnnas,” a beloved Easter destination for residents in the area. Designed to reflect the spirit of this iconic place, the sweater captures the true feeling of Easter in the north — and feels right at home at Livnnas

The yarn included in the kit is enough to make the largest size of the sweater.
Knitting pins are optional and included only if you choose the ‘With needles’ variant. Pattern format: PDF.

Gauge

18 stitches = 10 cm on 4.5 mm needles in stockinette stitch.

Construction

Body and sleeves are worked separately in the round and then joined to knit the yoke with stranded colorwork charts.
