Handmade Icelandic themed buttons made from wood and each with a different symbol of connected to Iceland. 

Vegvísir in Icelandic translates to 'sign post' or 'way finder' and the symbol is meant to prevent the person carrying it from losing their way. It is an eight-pointed shape, with each point having a unique design. The Vegvisir Compass is also known as the Nordic compass, and the Viking compass.

The Wayfinder, Vegvísir, and The Helm of Awe, Ægishjálmur, are both magical symbols that fall into the category of sigils, or staves or galdrastafir.

The wooden buttons are 21mm in diameter and the round shape as well as the button holes are laser cut which produces very smooth edges that won't snag your clothes.
